Libby Funke Luff moved from Evansville, Ind., to enjoy life in Music City in 2006. With a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, she was intrigued by a marketing and advertising position at The Tennessean. She helped launch a travel website, mobilized a Metromix street team and maintained an active client base. Drawing upon the marketing experiences she learned at Gannett, she joined a team to publish a new magazine for the music industry. After 14 months of alluring yet stressful work, Libby left music and entered the higher education arena. She currently works in marketing and student activities at Nossi College of Art, a professional art and design school. Libby lives in downtown Nashville and is actively involved in several organizations including the Nashville Downtown Partnership, the Nashville URA, NextUP Martha O’Bryan and the Griffin Design and Tech Academy at Hunter’s Lane. In her downtime, Libby seeks out new hiking and kayaking adventures; enjoys Nashville’s diverse and growing food scene; and loves exploring downtown and other local neighborhoods.
