For Screenwriting class, Hans Chilberg (video instructor) decided to host a screenplay competition. Students in screenwriting class were ask to write a short narrative and winners would receive gift cards from Dury’s and Performance Studios. This project was designed to energize students on the importance and fun of writing for visual storytelling. We also wanted to highlight students who have worked hard in the area of creative writing. Having a strong foundation on the page is of huge importance and beginning for any moving picture. Every composition, acting choice, edit and audio mix draws first from the page.
