Kappa Pi Seeks Alumni Mentors

Kappa Pi is a student-empowering organization that provides students with opportunities to create relationships, build character and foster career development within a collaborative, social environment. Nicole Drake founded Nossi’s Eta Tau Chapter last year and has since worked diligently to bond conscientious artists together, effectively forming an organization that is influential both on campus and in the community.

Five faculty members, six alumni members, and eight current students here at Nossi work together to coordinate lectures and other events that embody Kappa Pi’s mission: to help like-minded individuals grow both professionally and personally. Kappa continues to expand its reach and is looking to initiate five new students this semester.

The participation of alumni is key to the fulfillment of Kappa Pi’s goals and further expansion. Kappa needs alumni to get involved on campus by volunteering to speak to classes about their post-collegiate experiences and by conducting mock interviews that help underclassmen prepare for work in the creative industry. The stories of Nossi alums are invaluable to students trying to navigate their way to success in the arts; alumni, your involvement doesn’t have to end after graduation.
