Lisbeth Norton is a documentary photographer and writer. Born in Panama City, Panamá, and raised in Tennessee near Fort Campbell, Kentucky, she grew up universally minded and possessed a powerful imagination. She studied broadcast journalism with a minor in film at Middle Tennessee State University. Upon realizing that she was too “soft” to work in hard news, she decided to pick up a camera and pursue her true passions.
A lifelong fan of human-interest stories travel writing, and documentary photography, Lisbeth’s work concentrates on the cultural and social issues affecting Latin America and her quest to document their disappearing traditions and values.
Lisbeth is represented by press agency ZUMA Press and founded the Nashville Travel Massive chapter in 2018. Read more about Travel Massive, the world’s largest community for travel industry professionals to build connections, learn, and share their stories.
