George Walker IV

Born and raised in Nashville, Tenn., George Walker IV, always wanted to be a photographer growing up. He studied photography in college and started working as a photojournalist for the Tennessean in 1993. He has covered a variety of news and feature stories across Nashville over the years, and he focuses on sports assignments, specifically covering the Nashville Predators (NHL) and Tennessee Titans (NFL).
In addition to The Tennessean, his work has been picked up by dozens of newspapers across the country including the Miami Herald, Kansas City Star, The Sacramento Bee, The Charlotte Observer, Ashland City Times, and The Fairview Observer. Walker has received awards from the National Press Photographers Association, the Nations Football League Hall of Fame, and the Tennessee Associated Press.
