After graduation, Jonathan Wesenberg explored several opportunities in video and film until he landed at RFD-TV in 2016. Wesenberg graduated from Nossi College of Art with his bachelor’s degree in 2015, and now he utilizes those creative skillsets every day doing what he loves – capturing and showcasing client needs into the perfect video.
“This career has allowed me to expand my horizons. It’s taken me to places I never thought I’d ever be able to go. “ – Jonathan Wesenberg
The Nossi College of Art Video team, headed by our Video Program Coordinator Hans Chilberg, started a unique project, highlighting influential alumni making a creative mark in their field of study. We will begin highlighting these alumni through a ‘mini-documentary.’ We are thrilled to unveil the first episode in our series, and cannot wait to highlight more creatives moving forward. Special thanks to Josh Rhoton for the motion graphics and Jonathan Wesenberg for his exotic b-roll shots and allowing us to follow him around for a couple of days!
His latest adventures involve traveling the country and spotlighting Dude Ranches with a focus on Western lifestyle activities like horseback riding, hiking, and fishing for a television show called Debbe Dunning’s Dude Ranch Roundup.
His travels have taken him and his small crew across the country to Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Arizona. Not only has he encountered amazing adventures and breathtaking scenery he also earned three video awards including:
- Two Telly Awards: An award honoring exceptional film and video productions
- One Platinum Hermes Award: Awarded to companies and individuals when their talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and sets a benchmark for the industry as a whole. To earn Platinum status, one is considered to be among the most outstanding in the competition.
