Guest Speaker Chip Boles Visits with Nossi

RSVP HERE Fine Artist, Illustrator, and Mural-Scenic Artist CHIP BOLES (www.chipboles.com) - illustrator of 'The Yokai Character Collection' - will be speaking at the end of our Adobe Illustrator class with Mark Fleming. Open to the public, but must RSVP to attend. BIO: Chip received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration. Working, primarily, in graphite and gesso on panel. He lived in Himeji, Japan where he discovered a connection with Japan's own cryptozoological community of "hidden animals" or Yokai. His immersion in Yokai culture inspired his illustration, design, and co-editing of the Yokai Character Collection through PanAm Books in New York with the collection receiving praise in the New York Times (2015). Select illustration clients include Wall Street Journal Asia, UTNE, Stone Arch Books, CNN, and Metropolis Magazine (Tokyo). Muralist/ Scenic painter clients include Green Enterprises for Taylor Swift Productions, Entertainment Partners for the tv series Nashville, Trollwood Theatre and the Nashville Children’s Theatre as well as numerous schools, businesses, and homes across the United States.
