Application Procedure
The application procedure is as easy as 1, 2, 3 … 4.
Follow these four simple requirements to start your creative journey at Nossi College Of Art & Design.
1. All applicants must have a regular high school diploma and graduate with a 2.0 GPA. A high school general equivalency diploma (GED) or HiSET with satisfactory scores are also accepted. Unofficial transcripts can be reviewed during the admission process, but students will remain in provisional status. Official proof of the high school diploma, GED, or HiSET must be received prior to the first day of attendance in order to receive full college acceptance.
Applicants with a GPA below 2.0 may file an appeal with the Campus President. The appeal must include (a.) a detailed description of why the applicant's GPA is below the acceptable threshold (b.) a detailed plan on how the applicant will be successful, and (c.) supporting documentation from a third party, i.e., teacher, school counselor, or an administrator. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee approval. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
2. All applicants interested in enrolling must tour our school facilities (virtual tours are available). Contact an admissions rep to get started – 615.514.2787 – or use our easy online calendar to schedule a tour today!
3. All applicants are required to have a personal interview with an admissions representative. Their written explanation of why they wish to attend Nossi College of Art must be reviewed by a college official.
4. PORTFOLIO SUBMISSIONS:
BGA Illustration Technologies applicants are required to show original artwork.
BGA Graphic Design, Photography, and Videography & Filmmaking degree programs require you to showcase your work or creative thinking.
AOS Culinary Arts applicants are not required to have a portfolio. Instead, each applicant must complete an essay before enrolling in the program.
