We are excited to once again partner with the Nashville Farmers’ Market for their first major event of the season, Strawberry Fest 2026. Chef Zac and a team of Nossi Culinary students will be leading live cooking demonstrations and tastings during this free, family‑friendly festival on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Earlier this week, Chef Zac appeared on News Channel 5 Nashville to give viewers a preview of the dishes our culinary team will be preparing at the festival. He showcased two strawberry‑forward recipes that highlight the versatility of Tennessee’s spring produce: a warm, buttery Strawberry Shortcake and a batch of sweet‑and‑spicy strawberry‑glazed wings. Both dishes are simple to recreate at home and perfect for celebrating peak strawberry season.
Nossi Culinary students and our chefs will host cooking demos at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. during Strawberry Fest. Visitors can watch the team cook live, sample the finished dishes, and learn techniques our students practice throughout their training in Nossi’s 2‑Year Culinary Program.
Below are the recipes featured on News Channel 5 and at this year’s Strawberry Fest.
