The TN Promise application deadline for the Class of 2027 was November 2, 2026. If you missed it, your plans for college in fall 2027 aren't over. If you're drawn to a creative career, Nossi College of Art & Design has its own scholarship for Tennessee graduates, the Nossi Promise, and it runs on a different timeline.

First: File Your FAFSA
Federal aid, like the Pell Grant, is based on the FAFSA, not on TN Promise. If you haven't filed yours yet, do that next at studentaid.gov. Add Nossi's school code, 017347, so our financial aid team can help you see what's available.
Meet the Nossi Promise
The Nossi Promise is a scholarship for Tennessee high school graduates who start at Nossi the fall after they graduate. It awards $333 per semester, for up to six semesters.
Here's what makes it a good fit for a lot of students:
- A later timeline. There's no November cutoff. You qualify as long as you start at Nossi by the fall semester after you graduate.
- Apply once. Once you're approved, the award is applied every semester. No reapplying, as long as you keep up your GPA and attendance and file your FAFSA each year.
- No community service hours or required meetings.
- Up to six semesters, for an associate's or bachelor's degree.
- Works with federal aid. It can be combined with federal aid such as the Pell Grant.
- Fixed Tuition. At Nossi, your tuition rate never goes up while you remain an active student.
Who Qualifies
- Tennessee resident and U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Graduating from an eligible high school with a 2.0 GPA or higher
- Starting at Nossi no later than the fall semester after graduation (before your 19th birthday)
- Accepted into a Nossi degree program, with your artwork shared with admissions
- FAFSA completed by February 15 each year to keep the award
