Linda Forrest is a dedicated administrative and operations professional with extensive experience in executive support, project management, budgeting, and event planning. With a background spanning both public and private sectors, she has honed her ability to streamline processes, manage large-scale initiatives, and provide high-level support to leadership teams.
Most recently, Linda served as an Administrator Operations Assistant IV for the Metro Nashville Department of Transportation and Development (NDOT), where she coordinated site plan approvals, worked closely with the Mayor’s office and IT teams, and provided executive-level support to the Director of Development. Before that, she spent a decade at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, overseeing more than 300 conferences annually, and supporting over 70 faculty members in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension.
Now, as she transitions into a new chapter of her career, Linda is focused on higher education, where she can combine her administrative expertise with her passion for working with young adults. She finds great fulfillment in mentoring and supporting students, making Nossi College of Art & Design an ideal fit for her. With a Bachelor of Psychology from Tennessee Tech University, she brings a strong foundation in understanding people, organization, and strategic planning.
