Jill Anderson LRC Manager

Jill Anderson MLS, Ph.D.

LRC Manager

Jill E. Anderson earned her Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi in postwar American literature, and her first book is entitled Homemaking for the Apocalypse: Domesticating Horror in Atomic Age Literature and Media (2021). She is co-editor/creator of Shirley Jackson Studies, an open access journal dedicated to the influential American horror writer. She now holds an MLS from Middle Tennessee State University and is working on an MSIS through University of Tennessee-Knoxville, pursuing a career in archival management. When she is not teaching English at a local university, she can be found at her pottery wheel making a mess, in her kitchen baking breads and cakes, at her sewing machine making herself clothes, in a comfy chair with a horror novel and her cat, Alistair Deacon, on her yoga mat, or in the woods, foraging for mushrooms with her spouse.
