Tabor Luckey

Tabor Luckey was born and raised in northwestern Montana. He has been in the restaurant industry for over 27 years starting out as a busboy at a new restaurant that opened by his house on Flathead Lake, where he stayed for 7 years and left as the Executive Chef. After graduating from high school Tabor traveled overseas where he attended seminars at both La Cordon Bleu’s in Paris and London. Once returning back to the states he moved to Rhode Island and attended Johnson and Wales University, majoring in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management, graduating magna cum laude with both degrees.

While attending Johnson and Wales he competed in both hot and cold food competitions, as well as winning the national collegiate ice carving championship two years in a row. He moved to Wales, UK, and worked at the Celtic Manor, the 2010 Ryder Cup location. Tabor spent the majority of his time working at Ownes, now The Crown at Whitebrook, a Michelin star restaurant; he also spent a great deal of time working in the banquet kitchen doing dinners for up to 1500 people.

After moving back to the states he started working for an upscale casual corporate restaurant group based in Nashville. He became the executive chef of two locations in Nashville, as well as, a corporate trainer opening six new stores. After six years with this restaurant group, he left to start working as a Culinary Instructor at the Art Institute of Tennessee. In 2009, Tabor purchased two Restaurants in Bellevue Tennessee, and a third in 2011. With this new restaurant venture, a growing demand in Nashville for catering was evident, and a new hospitality group was formed.

In August of 2012, his company opened the Bridge Building in downtown Nashville. In 2014, The Bell Tower opened as one of the largest, historic event spaces in Nashville, and in 2017 his company began overseeing the management of The Quarter on Second Avenue in downtown Nashville. In June of 2019, Tabor left the company he helped build and Luckey Hospitality was formed. Luckey Hospitality is a dynamic company focusing on the lost art of hospitality. His company owns and operates Corner Pub Franklin, Corner Pub Brentwood, Corner Pub Bellevue, Corner Pub Downtown, and Esquina Cantina. Luckey Hospitality has created a team dedicated to superior service, the highest quality products, and the consistency of both of those. With an aggressive but controlled growth strategy, the Corner Pub and Esquina Cantina will be expanding outside of middle Tennessee and plans for taking both brands outside of the state are also in the works.

Along with purchasing the restaurants, Luckey Hospitality purchased a 15,000-sqft warehouse housing a Tennessee Agricultural Inspected commercial kitchen. The kitchen produces the highest quality food products for several restaurants in middle Tennessee as well as outside of the state. The commissary is also producing, packaging, labeling, and distributing third party products for retail sales. The growth strategy for the commissary kitchen is aggressive and innovative with several additions coming soon.
