Currently, Habib is the founder and owner of Locomotion Creative, an advertising design firm in Nashville, Tenn. Locomotion was founded in 1998 and has served such clients as Tractor Supply Company, Pinnacle Bank, Lee and Nautica Workwear, Hospital Corporation of America, Compassus, Johnston & Murphy Shoe Co., and Tri-Star Energy
among a list of regional and national clients.
Habib’s career in advertising spans over 40 years with creative ideas and design produced for many national companies including Shoney’s, Captain D’s, Cracker Barrel, First American Bank, Citizens Bank, JC Bradford Co., MacGregor Golf, Palmer Golf, Square 2 Golf, Pinkerton Tobacco, and Bostonian Shoe Co. He served as creative director and president of the design group at Buntin Advertising for 15 years before starting his own
firm in 1998.
In 2008, Habib was recognized by the AAF with the Silver Medal for a lifetime of service to the advertising and design community in Nashville. While always identified as a designer and creator of advertising and design, he has also been a prolific painter for the past 20 years working in mostly oils and gouache.
