Each image created is a conversation between light, hue and emotional portrayal that I aim to express. Color holds the power to evoke mood and tell stories. Every choice is made with the purpose of unlocking an emotional response. With long exposure techniques combined with the use of hue, it creates a sense of abstraction within reality. The intention is for the viewer to find their own meaning, creating space for interpretation. "Assignment Description: Co-Branding Ads Unexpected Pairings – Cinnamon Toast Crunch x Dr. Pepper⁠

In this Linear Design assignment, students explored the creative challenge of co-branding. The exercise began with students proposing a wide array of food products—ranging from savory and sweet to spicy and exotic. These suggestions were then randomly paired to create unlikely product combinations, designed to push students out of their comfort zones and encourage innovative thinking.⁠
⁠
Students were tasked with developing a fully realized advertisement that effectively promoted BOTH brands in the pairing, creating compelling visuals that made the combination not only plausible, but appealing and marketable. The featured pairing for this assignment was the cereal Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the soda Dr. Pepper.⁠

The goal was to produce an ad that balanced the identities of both products while crafting a cohesive, enticing concept that could captivate a target audience. “Isolation: Guardians of the Forgotten World
In a world once alive with human connection, Isolation tells the story of a boy who remains behind, left alone in a landscape where towering wooden giants now stand as his only companions, he finds solace in their quiet presence. These guardians, shaped by time and the elements, are more than remnants of a forgotten past-they are witnesses to both loss and survival.

I wanted to explore the idea that even in solitude, we are never truly alone. There is a beauty in the stillness, in the way nature quietly holds us when the world falls away. Each image became a reflection on resilience-the strength it takes to keep going-and the unexpected connections we find in forgotten places. MCFW @musiccityfoodandwine recap! Our Chefs and Culinary students had the opportunity to volunteer this weekend to represent Nōssi College, a partner of the Music City Food & Wine Festival in Centennial Park with @nashvillescene @us_foods

The Grand Tasting on Saturday where our students got to prepare, plate, and serve a dish to patrons. Additionally, students were able to assist the four incredible local Chefs who were competing in the 16th annual Iron Fork.

Thank you to @musiccityfoodandwine & your partners for having us.

ART WE 🫶: ‘Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism’ and ‘Tennessee Harvest: 1870s - 1920s’ on view at @fristartmuseum through May 4th.

“Featuring approximately 50 paintings and sculptures, the exhibition’s portrayals of farmers in fields and gardens, bustling urban markets, and chefs and diners in the age of grand banquets and a burgeoning café scene underscores connections between urban and rural life while capturing changing notions of gender, labor, and class.”
