In this class, students will examine various prevailing learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms within the proper context of their specific instructional subject or field of education. After a thorough analysis, students will adopt and cultivate proficiency with their chosen learning environment. As a collaboration of teaching techniques, learning processes, instructional design and instructional multimedia and technology assets, IDT-540 will organize and assimilate all of these concepts into one cohesive platform for administering and facilitating their instructional needs.

Following completion of the course, students will have successfully constructed a holistic unit in their LMS, complete with well-documented course objectives, organized content and instructional aids such as multimedia and interactive assets.
