Iconic Nashville Billboard Features Nossi Alumni Illustration

With the help of ArtPop Street Gallery, Nossi alumnus Danielle Duer exhibited her artwork, Thank You-HealthCare Heroes, on three billboards, including the iconic Nashville Sign - a large, digital billboard towering over West End. ArtPop Street Gallery's nonprofit mission? Giving communities greater access to art, by supporting the artists that create it. Wendy Hickey, owner and founder of ArtPop Street Gallery, connected with Blackbird Media and RBX Media in Nashville for a special short billboard run due to COVID-19. Her next step? Famous Drummer Speaks During Graduation

Nossi College of Art’s 2019 commencement speaker, Greg Upchurch, studied music at the University of Central Oklahoma before starting a storied career as a drummer. He famously worked with Chris Cornell in the late 90s for Chris' solo album and tour and Upchurch was the drumming backbone for other rock bands including Eleven, Puddle of Mudd and 3 Doors Down.
