INTERACTIVE DESIGN II

Interactive Design II builds on the foundational skills established in Interactive Design I, advancing students into the principles and practice of responsive web design. Students learn to design and build fluid, device-agnostic experiences using grid-based layout systems that adapt seamlessly across screen sizes — ensuring visual consistency and usability from desktop to mobile. The course introduces Bootstrap, the industry's most widely adopted responsive framework, as a professional tool for structuring and scaling interactive work. Through a series of increasingly complex design challenges, students experiment with multi-column layouts, split content, hidden navigation, and parallax techniques — developing both technical proficiency and the design judgment required to make intentional decisions across varied screen environments. By the end of the course, students will be capable of designing and building sophisticated, responsive web experiences that meet contemporary professional standards.

This course is offered on ground with an online component.
