We believe that no creative person should, for financial reasons, be left behind in the pursuit of a college degree. Therefore we offer financial aid and scholarships to those that qualify. Find out more about these opportunities below.

Financial Aid

Most students need some financial assistance when it comes to affording a quality college education. At Nossi, financial aid is available for those who qualify and may include Federal Pell Grants, Direct Loan Programs, Social Security and United States Department of Veterans Affairs programs, Tennessee Student Assistant Awards, and Federal Direct (Parent) PLUS loans. The college’s financial aid office is happy to assist you in applying for federal aid. Complete details can be obtained through this office during campus tours and appointments. Scholarships

We believe that finances should not be an obstacle when pursuing a creative arts degree. Therefore another form of financial aid we offer is in-state and out-of-state scholarship options for high school, transfer, adult, and Nossi alumni students.

High School Scholarships

Nossi Hope Scholarship

Did you earn a cumulative 3.0 GPA in high school OR did you score at least a 21 on your ACT? Did you qualify to receive a State-Based Education Lottery Scholarship from TN, AR, FL, GA, NM, SC, or WV? Then you can apply for Nossi's HOPE Scholarship. Nossi HOPE rewards you for your hard work and academic honors!

The Nossi Promise

This scholarship is open to all Tennessee residents who are a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen, graduating from an eligible high school, and enrolling in college no later than the subsequent Fall semester following graduation (prior to your 19 birthday). The Nossi Promise scholarship cannot be combined with the Nossi Hope scholarship.

The Nossi Counts Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all Alabama residents who are a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen, graduating from an eligible high school, and enrolling in college no later than the subsequent Fall semester following graduation with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and ACT score of 29 or below.

KEES to Nossi Scholarship

Did you qualify for the Kentucky KEES due to your high academic honors? If so, then you can apply for the KEES to Nossi Scholarship. You earned a reward for good grades in Kentucky – keep your reward even if you want to come to college in Tennessee with the KEES to Nossi!

The Nossi TOPS Scholarship

Did you earn the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) in Louisiana? If so, and you earned a 3.5+ GPA or scored a 23+ ACT score; then you could be eligible for the Nossi Tops Performance Scholarship.

Nossi TOPS Opportunity Scholarship

Did you earn the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) in Louisiana? If so, and you earned a 3.0+ GPA or a 20 ACT+ score; then you could be eligible for the Nossi Tops Opportunity Scholarship.

Mahtaban Scholarship for High School Seniors

Established in memory of Ms. Nossi Vatandoost’s mother, Ms. Mahtaban, this scholarship is awarded to students enrolling in Nossi's Graphic Design Media or Commercial Illustration programs. Students must demonstrate an exceptional ability in artistic expression, creativity, and a promising future as a professional, commercial artist/designer. Portfolios will be required for this scholarship.

Annual Deadline is April 15th

The Presidential Scholarship for High School Seniors

This scholarship is for students enrolling in the bachelor's degree for Commercial Photography or Video & Film programs. Students must demonstrate an exceptional ability in photography or video & film and a promising future as a commercial digital photographer/videographer. Portfolios will be required for this scholarship.

Annual Deadline is April 15th

The Josephine Mandriota Culinary Scholarship

Established in the memory of Chef Anthony Madriota's grandmother, this scholarship is a tribute to her legacy that inspired Chef Anthony to pursue his passion for culinary arts. Designed for seniors enrolling in our Culinary Arts program who demonstrate exceptional ability in culinary skill, creativity, and a promising future in culinary arts.

Annual Deadline is April 15th

The Governor's Scholarship

Awarded to Alumni of the Governor’s School for the Arts. The scholarship recipient must be a first-time freshman, enroll within one (1) year after graduation, and have a 3.0+ GPA or 21+ ACT on their high school transcript. GSA students must provide documentation of completion at the time of application. Download the Governor's Scholarship rules & regulations. This award may not be combined with any other Nossi College of Art and Design talent-based scholarships.

Nossi Scholastic Scholarship

Awarded to a high school senior who has shown exceptional creativity in the visual arts by being selected for a Silver Key, Gold Key, or America Vision Medalist by the Scholastic Art Awards. The student must provide documentation of the award at the time of application.

Pro-Start Culinary Scholarship

The Nossi ProStart Scholarship is awarded to high school students who have completed the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) requirements within the ProStart curriculum.

Strive For Success

Established for graduating High School seniors enrolling in Nossi College of Art and Design who have special financial needs, this scholarship is designed to help. Adult & Transfer Scholarships

Established in memory of Ms. Nossi Vatandoost’s mother, Ms. Mahtaban, this scholarship is for students enrolling in Nossi College’s Graphic Design Media, Commercial Illustration or Web & Interactive Design programs. Culinary Arts Advisory Board Scholarship

Nossi College of Art and Design is proud to partner with distinguished organizations throughout Middle Tennessee. Adult Education Scholarship

Our Adult Education Scholarship is for those adults who have never attended college but want to consider an exciting, creative new career path. We offer both need-based scholarships, as well as grants and aid to help with finances not otherwise covered.

Continuing Education Scholarship

If you’re an adult who started college after high school but never got around to finishing, this program is for you. We have flexible options for financing your education on your terms. Let us help you earn your creative degree at Nossi.

Alumni Scholarships

The Alumni Scholarship

Nossi College of Art and Design offers an Alumni Scholarship for Associate and Bachelor degrees to any qualified Nossi graduate or their immediate family members including a spouse, children, parents, grandparents, or siblings. The scholarship is awarded to students who are talented and meet or exceed the admissions requirements.

Outside Scholarships

Outside scholarships can include but are certainly not limited to your high school, local businesses, national companies, a church group, charitable foundations/service organizations in your community, your current employer, and your parent's employer.

Find scholarships by searching on the Internet for organizations from your city and/or county:

Collegeboard and Fastweb are free sites for Outside Scholarships. Create an account and then narrow down your search criteria to discover scholarships geared towards your interests and/or demographics.

The U.S. Department of Labor also has a scholarship search site.

It is vital you know when a scholarship opens the application process and the deadline to apply. The main outside scholarship season could begin as early as November.
