🎨 Fine Art Photography Critiques
In Eric Sutton`s Fine Art Photography class, students are not just taking pictures. They are building a body of work with a theme, a voice, and a story to tell. Halfway through the semester, Eric is pulling up student work on the projector and making sure every image is moving in the right direction. These critiques are about intention, consistency, and developing a creative identity that is entirely your own.

📸 In Wedding Events, the textbook is the real wedding album.
In Jordan Rocque`s Wedding Events class, students got hands on time with real photo albums, keepsakes, memory boxes, and fabric swatches from actual past clients and even his own wedding.
They also learned how to present and upsell these products as part of a professional photography package, the same way a working wedding photographer would with a real client. This is what it looks like to learn your craft from someone who is still living it.

🎓 Anna Palmer is a Nossi Culinary Senior and this is her story
While you watch her make Maneet Chauhan’s famous carrot cake in her Capstone class, here is what she wants you to know. The Nossi Culinary Program is rigorous, it is challenging, and it prepares you for the real world in a way that feels different from anywhere else.
Anna came in wanting to bake and she is leaving with the skills, the confidence, and the vision to back it up. After graduation, she has her sights set on traveling, growing her craft, and one day opening a place she can call her own.
This is what a Nossi Culinary education looks like from the inside.

🎓 Northwest High School Students made gumbo with Nossi Culinary Chefs
Students from Northwest High School got an inside look at the Nossi Culinary Program when they visited campus for a hands-on demo led by Chef Zac and Chef Rebecca Burney.
After getting a full briefing from our chefs, the students took over the kitchen and created the dishes themselves. That is exactly the kind of experience we love to bring to schools who are curious about what a culinary arts education can look like.
If you are a student, teacher, or administrator looking for an unforgettable campus visit, we would love to host your school next.

Capstone movie‑poster design by Anne Meegan 🎬🎨
Illustration student @artiststation_am created this poster for The Birdcage as her first project in Capstone, a course where seniors develop a cohesive, professional‑level portfolio in their chosen area of interest.
Capstone challenges students to take on assignments that reflect real industry expectations while refining their style, storytelling, and technical skills. Anne’s poster is a strong example of how students turn their ideas into polished work that represents who they are as emerging illustrators.

Megan Veldman talks at Brentwood Photography Group 🏒📸
Megan is in her last semester at Nossi College of Art and Design. She came in wanting to shoot sports and was told it was one of the most competitive paths she could choose. She didn’t care.
She spent her first year building real experience through every
connection she could make. One introduction led to another and she ended up photographing every sport she could for Belmont University, starting for free. From there, networking landed her an unpaid internship with Nashville SC. She did so well they offered her the next one.
Now she is shooting Nashville Predators home games for the NHL, transmitting photos and video live during the game. Each team only has two Live Social Contributors. Megan is one of them.
This week, she stood in front of a room full of seasoned professionals at the Brentwood Photography Group and broke down exactly how she got there. Focused, poised, and ready for every question they threw at her.

Studio Couple Portraits 📸
Allie Godwin brought couples into Studio A so students could practice posing, directing, and lighting techniques from their Portrait Photography course. Everyone took turns working with the models, adjusting their setups, and applying what they’ve been learning about gesture, composition, and classic studio lighting. It was a great day of hands on portrait work and real studio experience!
