Spring Semester Award Winners!

Most Creative. Talent Discovery. Academic All Star – during Nossi’s Open House and Senior Show, Nossi’s executive vice president announces nominations and winners for our semester award show. There are six awards all together, and this opportunity allows students, staff and faculty to come together and reminisce about the semester and share positive things happening within the Nossi community.

In addition to recognizing seniors getting ready for graduation, we want to motivate underclassmen by offering awards for the most dedicated students. From leaders in the classroom to leaders in the community, we recognized those creatives who take the time to share their talents and abilities with others. From involvement in student groups like Kappa Pi, an honorary art fraternity, to pro-bono, creative work with non-profits to becoming a mentor for younger students with the Pencil Foundation, Nossi students realize the opportunity exists to share their creative talents with the community.

Concluding each semester, we honor students with six awards – Most Improved, Most Class Participation, Most Creative, Talent Discovery, Ambassador Award and Academic All Star. Getting a nomination is an honor for a student because all nominations come directly from their instructors.

Sarah Abell of Toney, Alabama, won Talent Discovery and Academic All Star

Dusty Draper from Bowling Green, Kentucky, won Nossi Ambassador, Talent Discovery and Academic All Star

Matt Harris from Springfield, Tennessee won Nossi Ambassador, Talent Discovery and Academic All Star

Derek Gray from Clarksville and Madeline Koenig won Most Class Participation

Robert Rothering from Clarksville and Chelsea White from Nashville both won Most Creative

Kayleigh Corriell and Christina Negron both won Most Improved

Anthony Crumpler and Donn Jobe also received the Academic All Star

“The seniors who win these awards are the most talented among our student body,” said Cyrus Vatandoost, Executive VP of Nossi. “I’m saddened to see them graduate but excited about the success they will surely have in their career.”
