Nossi Hosts 12th&Broad's 2014 ArtCamp

12th & Broad, a creative organization from The Tennessean, is pleased to announce ArtCampNashville, a day of creativity, inspiration and education for and by Nashville’s diverse and thriving artistic community.

Professionals and enthusiasts in fine, commercial and performing arts fields are invited to help shape this unique event to be held Saturday, Sept. 6, at Nossi College of Art – located just north of Nashville off Ellington Parkway.

Art camp attendees will choose their own agenda for the day by selecting from among dozens of sessions in the following categories: Arts & the Community, Collecting & Curating Art, Performance, Marketing & Selling Your Art, Commercial Art, How-To and Technology & Art

Who is teaching the sessions? That’s the best part, and it’s also where we need the help of our local arts and arts services communities. Now through Aug. 18, we are holding “session submission” for anyone with something valuable to contribute – be it an inspirational talk, hands-on demonstration, or panel discussion. All you have to do is create an account on www.ArtCampNashville.com (it’s FREE), and tell us a little about yourself and proposed demonstration.

A final lineup will be selected by a team from 12th & Broad and community advisors. Speakers will be notified the following Friday, Aug. 22, and the lineup will be announced to the public on Monday, Aug. 25.

Tickets for ArtCampNashville are on sale now for $10 in advance, or $15 at the door. However, if you are a 12th&Broad member already, the event is free.

The ArtCamp experience will also include:

Live community art project

Symposium and ideas exchange at wrap-up of the event

Food trucks

Giveaways and raffle prizes

Cash bar
