Mark Mosrie brings over 30 years of experience as an image-maker in both the still photography and film & video industries to his role as a photography instructor at Nossi College. He studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography and also has a BA in Drama from Duke University. Mark has held many jobs in the creative arts. He was a lighting and set designer for plays and operas; a photo assistant for Annie Leibovitz; and he taught photography on a ship while completing a 105-day sea voyage around the world. He’s also worked on documentary films in Colombia and Vietnam and long-term photo projects in India and Cuba.
He has had the pleasure to create still and motion images for a wide variety of corporate clients, including The Grand Ole Opry, Tractor Supply Company, Mastercraft Boats, Covenant Physician Partners, HCA, and Wellstar Health System, among others. He also worked on countless independent productions and personal projects. His short films have won awards at the local and international levels.
A Spanish speaker, Mark enjoys movies, watching baseball games with his wife Erica, and learning about new cultures, new music, and new foods.
