Photography Field Trip

This may seem like an odd outing, but it’s a great opportunity to photograph a facility that has been abandoned and left in the same condition when it’s doors closed in 1961. If empty buildings that have seen better days are your “thing” then this trip might be for you. View Waverly Hills Sanitorium.

Our photography group has been to Gatlinburg, Cummings Falls, Mammoth Cave, Rock Island State Park, and Chattanooga in the past. If you have suggestions for other trips, feel free to share those with me.
