Nashville Technology Council – Leap Day 2016

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the LEAP grant, the NTC is bringing hundreds of students to the local tech industry on February 29th, 2016 for a technology workplace learning day.Nossi College of Art is excited to host three high schools as the participate in Leap Day 2016. We will see Ravenwood students at 9:20, Hillsboro students at 10:30 and Stratford students at 11:40.
In Nashville, there are over 1,500 jobs unfilled in the technology industry today. There are currently 500,000 tech jobs across America, and this number is expected to swell to 1.4 million in the next 4 years. Later at 3:30PM, representatives of businesses and the State of Tennessee actively involved in workforce development will convene to discuss the past year’s achievements, debut the launch of the We Build Techplatform, and preview what to look forward to in 2016.
