About Jamie:
Before Jamie Hernández had even graduated, she began photographing concerts for Nashville Scene. Jamie has had the pleasure of shooting for Americanafest 2014 and continually photographs shows all over Music City. Opportunities such as these have allowed Jamie to build her portfolio, one that now features photos of bands like the Avett Brothers and Arcade Fire.
Jamie’s other projects:
Aside from her work with Nashville Scene, Jamie also shoots the nationally-run publication Premier Guitar. She does not limit herself to shooting live music settings, however. Jamie is ultimately interested in people with a story to tell; she seeks to capture moments that truly speak to the viewer. Other clients of Jamie include Nashville Lifestyles Magazine, catering businesses and wedding parties in the Greater Nashville community.
Her plans for the future:
With a background in fine art and graphic design, Jamie has taken on writing and illustrating a comic book series called Smile. The first issue of Smile will be released in early 2015.
